Using the ''community of inquiry framework'' developed by Anderson et al., session participants will explore ways to bridge the three gaps that exist in their online courses: differing generational perspectives, cross-cultural ambiguities, and undiagnosed learning disabilities. Examples from recent online classes will be examined.

Mike Mutschelknaus creates traditional and online learning environments at Rochester Community and Technical College. He focuses on cross-cultural pedagogies in order to improve his students' knowledge of the course material and diversity as well.
